About The Opportunity

Mel’s Well Drilling is now hiring full-time Assistant Drillers in the Emo, ON area. This is your opportunity to expand your industry knowledge with a company that values dedication.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading the truck and drill rig
• Driving to and from worksites
• Maneuvering drilling equipment including augers and drills
• Drill and equipment set-up
• Handling sampling equipment, including providing samples to clients
• Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free
• Tool and vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Following all safety protocols
• Participating in hazard assessments, inspections, and safety meetings
• Occasional travel

About You

Successful applicants must:

• Hold a valid drivers license (DZ preferred)*
• Have the ability to lift loads of up to 50 lb/kg
• Be highly motivated with a passion for learning
• Honor all safety protocols
• Enjoy the outdoors
• Possess good mechanical and communication skills
